What if I want to withdraw the claim or discontinue the case before it is completed?

If you have decided that you want to withdraw the claim or to discontinue the case, following applies: 

  • If you in writing form, notifies Refundmore about your withdrawal within the cooling-off period of 14 days, and if the claim has not yet been sent to the airline, it is free to discontinue the case. 

  • If you want to withdraw the power of attorney within 14 days, however Refundmore have started handled your case and made and sent a legal claim to the airline, you may not pay any fee, but only a single hourly salary of €67 (500 DKK) per case - regardless of the number of passengers attached to the case. 
    Refundmore will afterwards, inform the airline that Refundmore no longer represent you and withdraws the claim.
  • If Refundmore have successfully completed the case within 14 days, and the airline have paid Refundmore the claimed compensation - you must pay the fee, which is 30% of the obtained compensation and any additional expenses. 
  • If you want to withdraw the claim later than 14 days after you signed the power of attorney (after the cooling-off period of 14 days), and if Refundmore not yet have received your compensation by the airline, our hourly salary is €67 (500 DKK). The number of working hours, depends on how many hours Refundmore have been working on your case.
  • If you want to discontinue the case, while the case have been brought to court -  you will be charged a fee equal to 45% of the claim amount and the total legal costs. Refundmore will afterwards withdraw the claim and the trial will be disrupted.

Withdrawal of the power of attorney might only happen by in writing form. Furthermore, you are only able to withdraw the case on behalf of yourself and your children.
