Once the case is properly created and all passengers have signed the power of attorney, next step for Refundmore is to issue a legal claim which we will send the airline.
The financial claim requires the airline to pay the entitled compensation and any additional expenses.
If the airline acknowledge the claim and transfers the claimed amount, Refundmore will inform you about this immediately and transfer your share directly to your bank account.
Some airlines payout the compensation directly to the passenger. If this happens, you will have to inform Refundmore immediately and you will afterwards, receive an invoice so that you will be able to pay Refundmore the fee.
If the airline reject or ignore our claim, we will start an investigation to conclude who the responsible party of the flight disruption is. To do that, Refundmore buys access to databases with important and technical information and evidences.
If the technical data and evidences points out, that the airline is responsible for the flight disruption - we will, if possible, bring the case to the right legal authorities.
How long does it take?
The processing time of the case might be two weeks or two years... Unfortunately, it is very difficult for Refundmore to give you an exact answer to this. But fortunately, more airlines have become better and faster to acknowledge the claim and to transfer the compensation, once they receive our claim.
